Several IHPI members receive Mi-TRAC and Mi-Kickstart awards
Mi-TRAC and MiKickstart awards are part of the University of Michigan’s MTRAC for Life Sciences Innovation Hub, a statewide program that supports translational research projects in life sciences with high commercial potential.
Mi-TRAC mid-stage funding awards are given once a year in January and offer funding in the $100k - $250k range, with proposals due in September. IHPI members who have recently had their projects funded by an Mi-TRAC award include:
- Tiffany Braley, M.D., M.S., Neurology
- Helen Kales, M.D., Psychiatry
- Sofia Merajver, M.D., Ph.D., Internal Medicine
- Brahmajee Nallamothu, M.D., Emergency Medicine
Mi-Kickstart early-stage funding awards are given quarterly and offer funding in the $25k - $50k range, with proposals due February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. IHPI members who recently received Mi-Kickstart funded projects include:
