Kayte Spector-Bagdady's research explores issues related to the secondary research use of health data and biospecimens. She is the Chief of the Research Ethics Service in the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine (CBSSM) and Chair of the Research Ethics Committee. Professor Spector is a former drug and device attorney and served as Associate Director for Obama's Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues. She serves on IHPI's Early Career Faculty Advisory Council (FAC).
