Dr. Kohne is interested in the long-term outcomes of children with critical illness, especially severe respiratory failure. He is working to identify and understand meaningful patient outcomes after a hospitalization and how the diagnosis and management of pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) affects these outcomes.
