Dr. Goldstick is a statistician by training and is an interdisciplinary injury prevention researcher, with particular focus on substance use and violence. He directs a state-wide surveillance system for opioid overdoses in Michigan, and is the PI of an R01 funded to study optimal prediction of future firearm violence risk. Additionally, he is the lead statistician on several randomized controlled trials aiming to determine the effects of behavioral health interventions.
