Dr. Briceno is a clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in aging and cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Her research interests are in racial/ethnic disparities in cognitive impairment and dementia, including risk and protective factors. She is also interested in issues of measurement in assessment of cognition in diverse populations, particularly among Hispanics, and in optimizing cognitive and emotional outcomes following stroke.
