Dr. Leichtman’s research interests include kidney and pancreas transplantation clinical outcomes, outcomes of living organ donors, histocompatibility, simulation modeling, kidney paired donation modelling, organ allocation, utilization, chronic kidney disease surveillance, and public policy. Dr. Leichtman is also president of Gift of Life Michigan, the State of Michigan’s organ procurement organization, and a senior research scientist at Arbor Research Collaborative for Health.
