Following their recent election, 23 new Fellows will be inducted into the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI) on November 13 at ceremonies during the AMIA 2016 Annual Symposium.
AMIA’s Annual Symposium is the premier educational event in the field. The symposium presents leading-edge scientific research on biomedical and health informatics and over 100 scientific sessions. The Symposium presents work from across the spectrum of the informatics field - translational bioinformatics, clinical research informatics, clinical informatics, consumer health informatics and public health informatics.
ACMI is an honorary College of elected Informatics Fellows from the United States and abroad who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of medical informatics and who have met rigorous scholarly scrutiny by their peers.
Among the 23 selected for 2016 was IHPI's David Hanauer, M.D., clinical assistant professor of pediatrics.
