MPrOVE brings together experts from IHPI and across U-M's health system to identify, design and rigorously and rapidly evaluate specific projects focused on improving quality and demonstrating the value of clinical services at Michigan Medicine and beyond.
Major projects include:
- Imaging Right Care Report: Measures the current state of imaging appropriateness throughout Michigan Medicine to assist in developing institutional priorities around improving appropriateness of advanced imaging.
- Reducing Unnecessary Vitamin D Tests: Evaluates the effectiveness of a Michigan Medicine initiative to decrease the inappropriate use of Vitamin D testing for outpatients.
- Chest Pain pathway: Uses mixed methods to evaluate the role of the chest pain pathway and introduction of high sensitivity troponin T in the Emergency Department.
