Dr. Wright Nunes' reseach focuses on optimizing patient kidney disease education and self-management across the continuum of care. Her studies examine patient and provider perspectives on what is needed in patient educational tools and provider support systems to help patients learn about kidney disease and align health behaviors with what is needed to preserve kidney function. She has an interest and expertise in systems implementation and quality improvement in engineering from her prior career, and she is integrating these methods into her current work.
