Dr. Power is interested in the connection between healthcare and public health. She is an infectious disease and preventive medicine physician who focuses on training physicians to care for communities and populations, in addition to caring for individuals. She is the associate program director for the University of Michigan School of Public Health Preventive Medicine Residency. Her research focuses on prevention of infectious diseases, including vaccine preventable diseases and healthcare associated infections.
