Dr. Wu is a family physician with expertise in family planning and mixed methods research (integration of qualitative and quantitative data). She is the Co-Director of the Mixed Methods Program and Co-Director/Co-Founder of the Antiracism and Health Equity in Research Program (AREP) in the Department of Family Medicine. Her research focuses on promoting person-centered contraceptive care and reproductive autonomy, particularly for people with chronic disease, breast cancer, disabilities and who identify with marginalized groups. Dr. Wu uses mixed methods, implementation science, community-engaged research practices, mobile Health, and social justice frameworks (antiracism praxis, reproductive justice, disability justice, critical race theory) to guide her work.
