Research journals are increasingly using social media and “visual abstracts” to help disseminate publications. Early research suggest that articles with a “visual abstract” are read three times as often. Join us for a 90 minute hands-on workshop, led by Andrew M. Ibrahim M.D., M.Sc. (Creative Director at Annals of Surgery and RWJ Clinical Scholar at IHPI), that will teach you the core principles and skills needed to effectively communicate your research in a visual format.
Attendees should bring a laptop.
Space is limited. Open to IHPI members and their staff.
