Lynda Zeller, Sr. Deputy Director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration will provide updates on complex policy and strategic initiatives in areas such as opioid epidemic, access to psychiatric inpatient challenges and the over prevalence of mental illness in jails. Lynda will structure her remarks in a population health framework.
Lynda Zeller is the Senior Deputy Director for the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She provides policy leadership for public behavioral health and developmental disabilities services, exercises executive and administrative direction and oversight for operations through the Bureau of Community Based Services, Bureau of Hospitals and Administrative Operations, and the Children and Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders Section. Lynda currently serves on three national boards. She has spent the majority of her career in the behavioral health field.
