Dr. Brenner is a physician-scientist whose health services research focuses on health equity, pain management/opioid stewardship, tracheostomy/intensive care, and large database analyses to inform policy. His work has examined the impact of Medicaid privatization on time to cancer diagnosis, disparities in sleep medicine trends, and strategies to optimize healthcare delivery. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, he aims to translate data-driven insights into policies that improve access, outcomes, and patient safety.
