Dr. Suwanabol’s research focuses on improving care for seriously ill surgical patients and surgical patients at the end of their lives. She is evaluating surgeon-specific barriers to palliative and end-of-life care, and developing a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of variation in this care in surgical patients.
