Dr. Ohye's research activities consist of several projects through the Michigan Congenital Heart Outcomes Research and Discovery Program (M-CHORD), as well as being the co-Principal Investigator of the Section's research activities in the NIH-sponsored Pediatric Heart Network (PHN). He has an interest in pediatric cardiac device development; he is currently involved in the development of several novel devices and is on the NHLBI committee developing the clinical trials to test the next generation of ventricular assist devices and ECMO circuits.
