Dr. Moniz’s research focuses on access, utilization, and costs of reproductive health services, and the dissemination of evidence-based services to preventing unintended pregnancy. Her research includes explorations of public attitudes toward the Affordable Care Act (ACA)'s contraceptive coverage mandate, and also characterizing Medicaid reimbursement for immediate postpartum contraception. Her work also includes evaluating the clinical implementation of immediate postpartum contraception in different real-world maternity care settings. She serves on IHPI’s Early Career Faculty Advisory Council (FAC).
