Dr. Moniz’s research focuses on implementing evidence into reproductive health policy and practice. Her research evaluates the clinical implementation of immediate postpartum contraception in different real-world maternity care settings. She also studies the Affordable Care Act's effects on access, utilization, and costs of reproductive health services. Her work aims to help people meet their reproductive life goals and to reduce disparities in reproductive health outcomes. Dr. Moniz is passionate about mentorship, professional development, and establishing equitable and inclusive workplace environments.
