Dr. Chung's research interests focus on the structuring of evidence-based practice in plastic surgery and hand surgery. His projects rely on epidemiology studies and clinical trials to derive the best evidence to guide treatments. He developed the Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire, which is widely used in the U.S. and around the world for measuring outcomes after hand surgery.
