Dr. Adler is a pediatric gastroenterologist whose clinical focus is caring for children and adolescents with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. His research interest is in improving outcomes by preventing complications in children with IBD, including both disease-related and treatment-related complications. He is passionate about reducing health disparities for children with IBD. He applies health services research methodologies and quality improvement science to address these goals. Dr. Adler is the director of the U-M Pediatric IBD program.
