Dr. Thulin's research focuses on how digital spaces (e.g., social media, online forums) can exacerbate or be leveraged to reduce the risk of violence, substance use, and other harms for adolescent and emerging adult populations. Her work on anonymous reporting systems, used in 34/50 states, is providing evidence for best practice in the use, response, and outcomes of these systems.
