Dr. Chang's research aims to improve the care, quality of life, and patient-provider communications for patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), with a specific focus on shared decision making around treatments and evaluating how patients' values and preferences are incorporated in this process. Her other interests are integrating patient-centered collaborative research and behavioral interventions in EoE care. Dr. Chang serves on the IHPI Early Career Faculty Advisory Council.
