The Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation (IHPI) has awarded five researchers as 2026 recipients of the Sandy-Hassmiller Early Career Health Services Research Award. Made possible through a philanthropic gift from Lew Sandy, M.D., and Sue Hassmiller, R.N., Ph.D., FAAN, this award provides up to $10,000 in seed funding to help early career faculty advance innovative, equity-focused research that informs improvements in health and healthcare.
