Dr. Zeoli’s research focuses on gun violence prevention, specifically looking at the impact of gun laws and policies on violence, including domestic violence and homicide. Her multidisciplinary work investigates the implementation, enforcement, and effect of firearm safety laws at the state and local level, aiming to improve these laws and their application through policy-relevant research and evidence. Dr. Zeoli also serves as a Steering Committee Member and Research Expert for the National Domestic Violence and Firearms Resource Center and as the Policy Core Director for the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
