Introducing the National Clinician Scholars Program 2026–2028 Cohort
IHPI will welcome seven new clinician-scholars beginning in July 2026
The University of Michigan's Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation (IHPI) is proud to announce the incoming cohort of the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP) for 2026–2028. Beginning July 1, 2026, these accomplished clinician-scholars will join a dynamic network dedicated to advancing healthcare through rigorous research, leadership, and impact.
The 2026–2028 National Clinician Scholars are:
- Alexandra Flannery, M.D. — Department of Internal Medicine
- Marissa Ghant, M.D. — Department of Family Medicine
- Jane Harness, D.O. — Department of Psychiatry
- Ahmad Hider, M.D. — Department of Surgery
- Katherine Kruger, Ph.D. — School of Nursing
- Jason Qian, M.D. — Department of Urology
- Lindsay Rosenthal, M.D. — Department of Surgery
