Dr Charles' research focuses on innovative strategies to promote health literacy to reduce the impact of environmental hazard exposures. Projects include (a) working with global stakeholders on effective strategies to mitigate climate change, strengthen climate policies and protect public health; (b) capacity building to reduce exposures; and (c) evaluating the efficacy of innovative technologies for research translation and health communication.
