Dr. Murphy's work focuses on developing relevant and effective telehealth, behavioral, and rehabilitation interventions and translating them into practice to optimize management of chronic conditions. Dr. Murphy has expertise in patient-oriented and community-engaged research methods, social and behavioral clinical trial methodology, as well as real-time assessment techniques such as ecological momentary assessment and accelerometry. She leads the behavioral studies branch of the University of Michigan's Scleroderma Program; is Director of the Telehealth and Rehabilitation Center Advancing Chronic Condition Research Center (TRACC-R) and Director of the Behavioral Research Innovation and Support Program at the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR).
