Dr. Reisner is a social and psychiatric epidemiologist focused in HIV prevention and care, mental health and substance use, the health-related sequelae of stigma, and healthcare access and quality for traditionally underserved health disparity populations. He brings deep expertise in transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse population health, social determinants of health, and sex- and gender-based research methods. Dr. Reisner utilizes a participatory population perspective to work “with” not “on” populations, conducting policy-relevant research to advance health equity.
