Dr. Smith is an organizational sociologist and implementation scientist interested in improving healthcare outcomes by improving uptake of evidence-based practices and policy. Dr. Smith’s current work focuses on implementing behavioral health initiatives in schools and community health centers through the use of adaptive sequences of implementation support tailored to organizational context. Her research interests also include healthcare policy evaluation, mobile health, and research methodology. Additionally, she serves on IHPI's Early Career Faculty Advisory Council (FAC).
