Dr. Prager’s research interests include evaluation of the elderly population undergoing cardiac surgery, predictors of outcomes, and evolution and teaching of efficient systems in care of cardiac patients. He also focuses on patient safety and organizational efficiencies in healthcare. He leads the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons (MSTCVS) Quality Collaborative and is a Director of the University of Michigan’s Frankel Cardiovascular Center.
