Dr. Jean's research interests center on using large administrative datasets to study and improve perioperative outcomes and mitigate disparities in surgical care. He aims to use statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to design systems that integrate the large amount of pre-existing health data and leverage this towards improving perioperative workflow and outcomes.
