Dr. Hartman is a biostatistician whose research interests focus on healthcare quality and policy change assessments within the context of kidney disease, organ failure, and transplantation. He collaborates with clinicians to design and apply statistical methods to evaluate the national healthcare system and identify disparities in the quality and accessibility of treatments for end-stage renal disease. Dr. Hartman’s methodological research also aims to address statistical challenges that arise when applying survival analysis methods to observational healthcare datasets.
