Dr. Nam's primary research interest is to better understand factors contributing to worsening urologic workforce shortage and to improve access to care for patients by understanding the current urologic workforce landscape, characterize issues with recruitment and retention, and identify areas of advocacy for health policy change on an institutional, state, and federal level. Additionally, she utilizes large datasets, multi-institutional data, and prospective data to understand epidemiology of andrological diseases including male infertility, erectile dysfunction, peyronie's disease, and hypogonadism and how urologic workforce shortage affects access to care for men with these conditions.
