Dr. Munroe’s research focuses on resuscitation in early sepsis-induced hypotension and septic shock. Her work explores policy and practice variation in the use of fluids and vasopressors in early sepsis. She is interested in understanding how practice variation affects care delivery and patient-centered outcomes. The long-term goal of her research is to help optimize and standardize approaches to resuscitation in early sepsis.
