Dr. Nypaver’s scholarly and clinical academic interests lie in quality improvement specifically related to the acute care of children within emergency departments. Her other research interests include advanced human simulation technology in emergency education and telemedicine as an adjunct to physician training and assessment. She serves as co-director of the Michigan Emergency Department Improvement Collaborative (MEDIC), which is focused on improving emergency department care of children.
