Dr. Ghant focuses her research on advancing equitable, patient-centered reproductive health care through health services research, community-engaged research and digital health interventions. Her work aims to improve access to evidence-based reproductive health care for women, with a particular focus on contraception, uterine fibroids, preventive screening and reducing health disparities. She is an IHPI National Clinician Scholar and a clinical instructor in the University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine. Before joining U-M for her residency, she completed a family medicine internship at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and served for five years as a U.S. Navy flight surgeon and primary care physician, providing care to aviation squadron service members across the country.
