Dr. Admon is an obstetrician-gynecologist and R01-funded physician-scientist who examines clinical and policy strategies for addressing preventable maternal morbidity and mortality and how health insurance eligibility and benefit design influence maternal and child health outcomes. Nationally, Admon serves on the editorial board of the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology (the Green Journal) and as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). At U-M, she is an associate director of the Health Policy & Economics Pathway of Excellence at the Medical School and a member of the Faculty Senate’s Medical Affairs Advisory Committee.
