Dr. Mirza, a pathologist and physician-scientist, conducts research focused on diagnostics and pathogenesis, specifically concerning lymphoma and myeloid disease. He is interested in exploring the intersection of policy and pathology, access to testing and screening programs, bioethics, equitable care, and precision medicine. Dr. Mirza also conducts education research, including exploration of novel pedagogical tools in medical education and understanding of bias in medical school curricula.
