Dr. Eisenberg studies infectious disease epidemiology with a focus on waterborne and vectorborne diseases. He has established a research platform in Ecuador, where over the past 25 years he has examined how changes in social and natural environments, mediated by road construction, affect infectious disease epidemiology. Dr. Eisenberg is also currently working on collaborations in Africa and South Asia to study the impact of climate change on health.
