Dr. Dunietz applies epidemiologic methods to examine the impact of sleep on health across the lifespan in women and vulnerable populations. Her primary research projects focus on sleep characteristics of women at key reproductive transitions along their lifespan. Her health services research collaborations aim to uncover the burden of poor sleep and its consequences in older women and men, as well as gaps and disparities in obstructive sleep apnea evaluation, treatment, and treatment adherence.
