Dr. Kuzma is committed to working with vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly at-risk, high-ACE (adverse childhood experiences) youth. Her research and scholarship focus on optimizing healthcare delivery, policy, and education, with a specific focus on adolescent health, trauma/trauma-informed care, sexuality and gender identity, as well as integrating these content areas into NP education. She is actively involved and committed to health policy advocacy.
