Anne Fernandez, Ph.D., M.A.

Dr. Fernandez is a clinical psychologist whose research focuses on interventions for alcohol use disorders, including brief motivational interventions in healthcare settings. Her work focuses on developing screening and intervention approaches to reduce risky alcohol use among elective surgical patients. She is also interested in the broader area of health psychology and medical decision making and has conducted research on vaccination, cancer prevention, and health-related quality of life.
