Dr. Wu Joins NIH Mixed Methods Program
IHPI member Justine P. Wu, M.D., M.P.H., assistant professor, has been selected as one of 14 Scholars from around the country to participate in the National Institutes for Health Mixed Methods Research Training Program for the Health Sciences.
Dr. Wu will participate in a three-day summer course followed by a year-long training experience via group webinars and one-on-one mentorship with a mixed methods expert. Through this intense, hands-on experience, Dr. Wu will advance her understanding of and application of mixed methods to her research focus in reproductive health.
"I am very excited to have this opportunity to hone my mixed methods skills and work with work with investigators and experts from around the country. I also want to thank Dr. Michael Fetters, Dr. John Creswell, and Dr. Tim Guetterman for their guidance and support of my application to participate in this unique training experience," said Dr. Wu.
