The honors recognize individuals who are experts in policy, research, administration, practice, and academia that champion health and wellness
Marie-Anne Rosemberg, Ph.D., M.N., R.N., FAAOHN, associtate professor of nursing, and Olga Yakusheva, Ph.D., M.S., professor of nursing were both inducted as American Academy of Nursing Fellows at the organization's Health Policy Conference.
Rosemburg was inducted as a 2023 Fellow, which recognizes nursing professionals for their substantial, sustained, and outstanding impact on health and health care. Through a rigorous and competitive application process, she join more than 3,000 leaders who represent nursing’s positive impact through representation in a variety of roles.
Yakusheva was named an Honorary Fellow at the same conference for her extraordinary contributions to the nursing profession through health policy transformation. She is an economist whose pioneering research focuses on the efficiency, effectiveness, and economic impact of nursing. Her publications have paved the way for the value-informed nursing practice model which explores the convergence of nursing and economic theory for organizational transformation.
