Chopra will serve as a deputy editor of Annals of Internal Medicine starting in February 2021.
Vineet Chopra, M.D., M.Sc., associate professor of internal medicine, has been named a deputy editor of Annals of Internal Medicine, the flagship journal of the American College of Physicians and one of the most influential peer-reviewed clinical journals in the world.
Chopra is an associate professor of internal medicine and chief of hospital medicine at Michigan Medicine, the University of Michigan’s academic medical center. His research and clinical interests are focused on improving hospitalized patients' safety through the prevention of hospital-acquired complications. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, has edited and authored five textbooks, and has previously served in editorial roles at the American Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Hospital Medicine.
