Barnes and Tapper receive early career awards

The Department of Internal Medicine recently recognized two early career IHPI members for their contributions to Michigan Medicine and the field.

Geoff Barnes, M.D., M.Sc., assistant professor of internal medicine, and Elliot Tapper, M.D., assistant professor of internal medicine, received Early Career Endowment Awards from the Department of Internal Medicine. Barnes was the recipient of the James O. Woolliscroft, M.D., Department of Internal Medicine Early Career Endowment Award and Tapper was the recipient of the Margaret R. Gyetko, M.D., Department of Internal Medicine Early Career Endowment Award.
