Preeti Malani, M.D., M.S.J., M.S.
Dr. Malani is an infectious disease specialist whose research interests include left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), including LVAD-associated infection and the use of mechanical support in older adults, surgical site and other device-associated infections, transplant infectious diseases and infections in older adults, and infection control and prevention in limited resource settings. She is also a member of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America’s (SHEA) Public Policy and Government Affairs Committee, and a frequent contributor to the Health Affairs Blog.
