Dr. Mmeje's research focuses on the evaluation and implementation of safer methods of conception for HIV-affected individuals and couples in low-resource environments, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, as a means of HIV prevention. Her other interests include reproductive infectious diseases, vaginitis, safer conception for HIV-affected couples, and general obstetrics and gynecology.
