Improving equity in the delivery of care to adolescents and children.
The Program for Equity in Adolescent & Child Health (PEACH) aims to improve equity in pediatric care and experience. The program takes an interdisciplinary, data-driven approach to identifying inequities and uses quality improvement expertise to develop systems-level approaches to eliminate inequities that are identified. PEACH is supported by 11 clinical departments/divisions in the University of Michigan Medical School, along with CS Mott Children's Hospital, the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion, Poverty Solutions, and several other units at the University of Michigan.
