Dr. Aebersold’s program of scholarship focuses on improvements in healthcare delivery and health professions training and education, through innovations in technology, quality, and safety. Her interdisciplinary work leverages technology-mediated delivery methods and simulation strategies focused on pediatric acute care, oncology, and Veteran populations. Her scholarship in simulation-based education has informed policy makers and educators in nursing. Dr. Aebersold is also an XR Faculty Innovator and the Vice Chair for Research in the Systems, Population and Leadership department at the School of Nursing.
