Dr. Kwakye's research interests lie in improving health disparities globally, tackling colorectal cancer screening, and addressing treatment outcomes among populations in Africa and also immigrants to the U.S. She also conducts research on female genital circumcision among immigrant populations and how the tradition might affect engagement with preventive health services.
